What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Maggie Valley, North Carolina and surrounding areas.

What services do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of services that can be provided while keeping your pet at home. Please see our SERVICES page on this website for a complete list.

What pets do you care for?
Dogs, cats, caged pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs, fish and some reptiles such as turtles and lizards. Sorry, snakes are not on that list!

When is payment due?
If you decide to schedule service at the time of the meet and greet, payment is to be paid in full at that time for NEW clients. For existing clients, payment is to be paid in full on or before the first day of service. Either way, an invoice will be emailed to you for planning purposes and for your files.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and checks.   

How do I sign up for services?
When you are ready to sign up for our in-home services, all you need to do is call or email us to set up a complimentary meet and greet. We are very flexible and can work around your schedule.

How much do you charge?
Since our services are unique in that we are dedicated to providing services that are personalized based on the needs of you and your pets, our prices vary. Our services start at $18 per visit. We can add additional time and make adjustments as needed. When you call to schedule your meet and greet, we can go over some basic prices and services. Also, during the meet and greet, we can give you a more precise quote once we know your requirements.

Why do you require two sets of keys to my home?
We ask you to provide us with two keys to your home in case of any unforeseen circumstances. We always keep one key in our locked box in the office. The other key is kept by your pet sitter. If she can’t complete the visit for any reason, we’ve still got you covered. We can simply assign your visit to our backup sitter, and he/she can retrieve your secondary key from the office and perform the visit as planned.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Oceanair Pet Care is licensed and insured.

Do you have references?
Absolutely! We can provide you with references. Just ask.
